Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider

Dakota Family Services is a group of compassionate, practiced experts providing outpatient care for children and adolescents with complex behavioral health issues. As a community-based mental health organization, Dakota Family Services provides multi-disciplinary outpatient mental health services. 

Dakota Family Services is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider as we expand our outpatient mental health services in Fargo and Minot, ND.  We are seeking a clinician to provide trauma-informed, family inclusive, evidence-based, individual, group, and family care in accordance with our vision that all children and families achieve greater successes in life.  Successful applicant must be devoted to promoting the needs of youth and families by ensuring they have a voice in treatment planning and by advocating for resources to help them achieve success. 

Highlights of the position include:

  • Daytime hours, Monday – Friday, with flexible clinic hours
  • Allowance for professional development.

  • Limited off-site call
  • Administrative, scheduling, and billing support.

Licensure Requirements:

  • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) or Physician’s Assistant (PA) with at least one year of experience in psychiatric clinical practice or more than three years of experience in Pediatrics or Family Medicine
  • OR: Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (PPCNP-BC) with at least one year of experience in psychiatric clinical practice or more than three years of experience in Pediatrics
  • OR: Child/Adolescent Psychiatric-Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist (PMHCNS-BC)
  • OR: Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (across the lifespan) (PMHNP-BC)
  • AND: Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of North Dakota.
