NDAPA By-Laws Amended

The NDAPA bylaws amendment was approved.  The change to the bylaws was under Article VIII - Election of the Executive Board and AAPA Delegates, Section VI.  Section VI now allows for electronic elections and reads...

Section VI:

Call for nominations will be announced via email and/or the NDAPA website. Additional nominations will be called for at the annual meeting. The candidates for the Executive Board, along with a short bio if the candidate chooses, will be presented to the voting membership at the annual meeting as well as via email and an online voting tool. The NDAPA will have 14 calendar days to complete the voting process at which time the voting will cease and votes counted.  Should there be a tie, a runoff election will promptly take place to determine a winner.  The winners will be announced via email and on the web site.

If electronic voting is not available, a call for nominations will be announced via e-mail and/or the NDAPA website. Additional nominations will be called for at the annual meeting.  The candidates for the Executive Board will be presented to the voting members at the annual meeting.  The election of officers shall be held at the annual meeting. The results of the balloting will be announced at the annual meeting.
