Nominations Sought for NDAPA Board and AAPA House of Delegates

Posted almost 4 years ago by Terri Lang

NDAPA members,

With our Annual spring conference being canceled due to COVID 19 precautions we will have a virtual call for nominations. Below are the nominations we have thus far. If you are interested in any of these board positions please let Terri know.   For those who are interested in attending the AAPA conference and representing the NDAPA as a Junior Delegate at the AAPA House of Delegate (HOD) meeting please let Terri know so we can get your name on the ballet. The 2021 AAPA conference is scheduled to be held in Philadelphia, PA from 22-26 May 2021 with Daryl Sieg as Chief Delegate.  Also as a Junior Delegate you will be the Chief Delegate from ND for the AAPA HOD meeting which will be in Indianapolis, IN from 21-25 May 2022. I have served as both a Junior Delegate as well as a Chief Delegate a couple of times and found the experience interesting and rewarding. Don’t worry about “messing up” there are always many AAPA staff to answer questions and guide you and others thru the process.  Alternate Delegates are those NDAPA would send in case one of the other delegates could not attend.  The call for nominations will be open for 14 days and will close on  15 May 2020.

With our voting being done on line, I encourage all (though it is certainly NOT required) to provide a short bio about yourself to be included in the e-mail notification that the voting window is open.
