Megan Vetsch - 2021 PA of the Year

This year’s nominees for NDAPA of the year were Travis Booke (Dickinson) and Megan Vetsch (Fargo).

Megan has been a PA for over 20 years and has experience in a variety of areas, from providing primary care for the uninsured/underinsured and the homeless, to the unique challenges faced in her current position as an orthopedic PA treating our nation’s veterans.

Megan has also served on a 3-week mission trip at Karanda Hospital in Mount Darwin, Zimbabwe, Africa. During her time in Africa, she assisted in surgery and outpatient care of citizens in the surrounding community including over 500 orphaned children from HIV/AIDS.

Travis Booke, PA-C, was also nominated for PA of the Year by the leadership at the CHI St. Alexius Health in Dickinson. Travis is a hospitalist PA and has been a great asset for the hospital, patients, and community. He persevered through the pandemic while working in the hospital and at the same time caring for his daughter with a congenital heart defect.

Please join us in congratulating the 2021 NDAPA of the Year, Megan Vetsch, PA-C, and nominee Travis Booke, PA-C!
